Giannis Aggelopoulos


Captain Giannis is 45 years old and has been a Captain in the yachting industry for the past 18 years. Captain Giannis holds a sailing boat and speedboat license, and is also a certified sailing instructor. Throughout his years in the yachting industry he had the opportunity to work on motor yachts, sailing yachts and for the past 6 years on catamarans. Captain Giannis has been with New Horizons Yachting Co. for the past two years; he started off as Captain on New Horizons 2 and due to his high performance was promoted to New Horizons 3 this year.  He discovered his passion for the sea at the age of 8, he competed in various sailing races and has sailed over 4,200 nautical miles in races. Captain Giannis is a very hard working and knowledgeable captain. His ultimate goal is to provide his guests memorable and safe holidays on New Horizons 3.

Chef - Themis Tzounakos
Themis Tzounakos


Themis is 27 years old and a graduate of Le Monde Athens Institute. He is passionate, and hardworking, with 9 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant sector. He is rejoining us for a third season after two very successful 2019-20 seasons. He has worked as sous and head chef in various restaurants and Hotels in Athens, Santorini and Rhodes. Themis looks forward to welcoming his guests on board and introducing them to his culinary world. His cooking skills are quite advanced especially when preparing dishes of the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. He speaks fluent English and is very polite towards everyone around him. Themis has quite a loveable personality and we are confident that he will do his best to make your vacations dreamy.

Tania Dalamarini


Tania is 25 years old and a graduate of Institute of Vocational Training Le Monde. She has worked in various restaurants and bars as a sous chef and briefly as a barista. Tania believes in the team spirit and customer service excellence. She looks forward to welcoming her guests on board and giving them the vacations they’ve been looking forward to. She speaks English and Greek. Tania is a young woman full of energy, skills, and passion for her job. We are confident she will serve her guests’ with the utmost attention.
